BOTOX®
Bend, Oregon
Reduce the effects of aging and diminish the appearance of unwanted wrinkles and creases on the face with our BOTOX® treatments.
What is BOTOX®?
As we age, it’s common to experience wrinkles and creases between the eyebrows and around the forehead, eyes and mouth. BOTOX® is extremely effective at reducing the appearance of these facial lines. The main ingredient, botulinum toxin, causes the contracted muscles to relax, giving you smooth skin and a flawless appearance.

What to Expect
Before Your BOTOX® Bend Appointment
Your BOTOX® Specialist at Ageless Health Medicine will evaluate your lines and wrinkles, listen to your concerns, and create a customized treatment plan for you.
They will let you know the ideal areas to target for effective treatment and the number of injections needed for each location of the face.
Avoid aspirin and similar anti-inflammatory medications, blood-thinning medications, and alcohol at least 24 hours before your appointment.
During Your BOTOX® Bend Appointment
Before the injections are administered, your face will be cleaned. BOTOX® will then be injected into specific areas of your face. We do have pain management options available, and we are told it is most often a completely painless treatment.
While the initial session can take up to an hour, you can expect to spend around 30 minutes in any follow-up sessions.
After Your BOTOX® Bend Appointment
After BOTOX® is injected, the contracted facial muscles will relax as a result of the botulinum toxin, which results in the diminished appearance of creases and wrinkles.
Your BOTOX® Specialist at AHM will provide you with detailed post-care instructions.

BOTOX® typically lasts anywhere between 3 to 6 months. It’s common for clients to receive multiple treatments throughout the year.
BOTOX® is different from a dermal filler in that it causes contracted facial muscles to relax, resulting in the reduced appearance of creases and wrinkles. Dermal fillers work by boosting volume in wrinkles that have lost collagen and elasticity.
It’s unlikely your treatments will be covered by insurance. However, you should contact your insurance provider to confirm. Sometimes treatments can be covered if they are performed for medical reasons (rather than aesthetic).
